Chemical spill cleared up in Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) — Police are asking the public to avoid the Stoney Point Road and Occidental Road area due to a chemical spill.

Hazmat crews were on site.

Firefighters found several closed containers of pool chemicals and a broken 1-gallon container of muriatic acid.

Caldor Fire grows slightly, now contained at 25%

As of 8:47 p.m., the burial was neutralized.

Police have yet to say what caused the burial.

All roads were cleared at 9:27 a.m
