Would you like your event to be listed? The Community Calendar is provided free to non-profit organizations to keep the public informed of special events and activities. Baseline for Young People has booked an entire theater to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The film is rated PG and the screening will take place on Tuesday 25 January from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. $7.50 for admission, including a small drink and popcorn at Village Cinemas, Plenty Valley, 415 McDonalds Road, Mill Park.

Information evening for foster parents

Ever thought of becoming a foster parent? Anglicare Vic is hosting a free information session on Thursday 27 January from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Registration can be done by email.

Detox your home

Do you have a stash of unwanted household chemicals that you need to get rid of? Items such as cleaning supplies, pool chemicals, and weed killer should not be thrown in your trash can or poured down the drain. You can safely dispose of these items at this free Detox your Home drop-off event with drive-through on Saturday, February 5th between 9am and 1pm.

A new page

Make a little book with artist Annie Bolitho to mark the beginning of 2022 and gift it to a loved one. The free activity will take place on Saturday, January 15th from 11:00am to 12:30pm. The books will contain organic elements and celebrate life and the importance of connection. Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
