Amenities and elegant interiors highlight Grandview’s modern coastal lifestyle

Heralding a new coastal lifestyle coming to Estero Island, Grandview at Bay Beach introduces architecture, amenities and interior design inspired by its surroundings – nearby beaches, the Gulf of Mexico and Estero Bay. Developed by London Bay Development Group and designed by Interior Design Associates, the Grandview is halfway through construction and is scheduled for completion in Spring 2023. Sales have increased rapidly, with astonishing numbers such as $10 million in a 10-day period.

The first condominium building to be built on the island in the past 10 years, the Grandview will welcome guests with a striking two-story architectural art installation in the lobby. Rising above a seating area, the installation’s integrated lighting and mixed metals play with the light, complementing the natural sunlight from two-story windows and the shimmer of nickel and soft gold found in furniture, accents, and the banister of a floating glass staircase find is. It sets the stage for welcoming social amenities and a design in soft, sandy linen and white tones punctuated by electric cobalt blue that is both calming and spirited like the sea.

“The interior design is a modern expression of coastal elegance,” said Jennifer Glass, president and director of the Nashville-based design firm. “Details are neatly drawn and boldly expressed. Grandview was designed to be pleasingly graceful and to serve as an extension of any residence; The amenities are well appointed and well designed, welcoming residents whether they are wearing a cocktail dress or shorts and sandals.”

Blurring indoor and outdoor boundaries with large sliding glass windows and walls, Grandview amenities are elevated to a higher floor, maximizing views of the mangrove-lined bay and connection to nature. Outdoor spaces include covered and open-air gathering areas with built-in seating, fire pits, a raised spa, an outdoor kitchen with two grills, and inviting green spaces. Pergolas, palm trees and colorful landscaping reflect the ambiance of the building’s tropical location.

Located in the EL, the interior features a large club room, a fitness center, a living room with a linear fireplace, a kitchen and a bar, as well as several places to meet with neighbors or enjoy a quiet moment. Marble, decorative lighting and a collection of original artworks, limited edition prints and wall sculptures add to the feel of a private luxury residence.

“We chose materials that are beautiful in their simplicity,” Glass said. “Marble floors and walls add interest and allow art installations, lighting, patterned carpets and décor to shine. Residents will love the variety and design of amenities. There are so many beautiful areas and an abundance of small and intimate conversation spots in addition to the large social gatherings and outdoor living spaces.”

Grandview’s fitness center also focuses on indoor-outdoor connection, with state-of-the-art weight and cardio machines positioned by windows and sliding glass doors that lead to a seating area under a pergola. There’s also a yoga studio with a mirrored wall, barre, and cushioned floor, and comfortable men’s and women’s changing rooms.

Grandview offers a block location from the beach, modern amenities and luxury condominiums with panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The building’s 58 apartments have open floor plans that span 2,400 to 2,900 square feet with three and four bedrooms and up to three and a half bathrooms. Each house has its own elevator and its own parking space in the main garage. Six exclusive top-floor penthouses feature 11-foot ceilings and a private two-car garage.

In these meticulously designed residences, a wide foyer leads to a living area that encompasses a great room with an airy, screened-in covered patio, an elegant dining area, and a gourmet island kitchen with stainless-steel Bosch appliances. Select floorplans also offer spacious dens that provide additional comfortable space to work or relax.

Each luxurious master suite features spacious walk-in closets, sitting areas that create the ideal spot to enjoy the water views, and spa-worthy bathrooms with dual vanities and an oversized walk-in shower.

As the last building on Waterside at Bay Beach, residents of Grandview also have access to the larger community’s activities and amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and spa, hiking and jogging trails.

A fishing pier, walking distance to beach access and nearby marinas provide additional outdoor recreation options including sailboat, jet ski and motorboat rentals, biking, fishing charters and sunset cruises. Grandview’s prime location, just 2 miles north of Lovers Key State Park, provides easy access to destinations along the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail, Lee County’s famous 190-mile kayak, paddleboard and canoe trail.

Grandview is just minutes from the beaches of Fort Myers Beach and world-class shopping, dining, championship golf courses and Naples’ cultural experiences.

Grandview residences start at a low $1 million and offer a pet-friendly environment with no weight restrictions.
