MURRIETA, CA —Break out the pool toys and grab the sunscreen. Dry conditions and hot weather are expected across Riverside County this week, the National Weather Service reports.
A brief high-pressure system will heat up all of Riverside County through Friday, including Southwest Riverside, the Pass Area and the Coachella Valley. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to high 90s, with low 100s possible in some areas, especially across the lower deserts, the NWS meteorologists say.
Dry weather will prevail through the weekend. However, a pattern change will bring cooler temperatures and possibly even some rain showers in the second week of April, they predict.
In Murrieta, residents can expect a breezy Tuesday and lots of sunshine. Friday will be the hottest day of the week, with high temperatures skyrocketing to 96 degrees, the NWS reports.
