An urban exploring group has uncovered a “vast” abandoned leisure centre.
The group, the Lost Adventures, visited the abandoned Maidenhead Leisure Center in Berkshire last week and filmed their findings.
The group explored the eerie leisure centre, showing the drained swimming pool, empty jacuzzi, run-down dance studios, and the three-floor adventure zone which still featured equipment.
The leisure center was opened in 1974 and shut for good in 2020 following a decision by Countryside Properties,
A spokesperson for Lost Adventures said: “To see somewhere this big and vast abandoned is absolutely crazy.
“Once inside the swimming pool area we thought it was big but the complex just keeps opening up to new sections and parts of the building.

“The pool leads onto the gym then into dance studios, escape rooms, a spa with a jacuzzi, and a three floor adventure zone plus trampolines.
“Some rooms still had equipment left behind which is worth lots of money like the exercise machines in the gym.

“This is one of our most enjoyable explores as we spent hours in there without anybody else.”
Last year an urban explorer digging through a creepy abandoned house in the Scottish Highlands uncovered the mummified remains of a cat in the kitchen.
The empty family home was described as being “frozen in time” by YouTuber Adam Mark Explores , in a clip that sees him take his 55k subscribers on a tour of the decaying building.

Upon entering the house, Adam described the “dark and eerie” atmosphere, as well as a silence which he said put him on edge as he made his way through.
The video, which garnered more than 21k views, showed the rotting house scattered with old books, magazines and newspapers, dated between the 1950s and 1970s.
